How are Grade Point Averages (GPA) and Honor Point Averages Calculated? Regular classes A= 4.00 B= 3.00 C= 2.00 D= 1.00 F= 0.00 These point values are the GPA (unweighted) you see on your report card and on your transcript and show your performance in each course you take. The cumulative GPA is the collection of all the points for all the time you have taken courses. Honors classes A= 4.50 B= 3.37 C= 2.25 D= 1.12 F= 0.00 These point values are the HPA (weighted GPA) you see on your transcript and are only there if you have taken an honors course. These point values help build your rank in class. Rank is how you compare as a student with the other students in your grade level. Colleges use rank to determine how successful you will be on their campus. AP//AICE/Dual Enrollment classes A= 6.00 B= 4.50 C= 3.00 D= 1.50
