These are 3 of the interactions found within an ecosystem

Why is this happening? What’s going on? What do we call this? The lion is hungry and needs energy Then lion is attacking the zebra What do we call this? Predation – when one organism (the predator) eats another organism (the prey).

What’s going on? Why is this happening? What do we call this? The oxpecker is on the rhino Why is this happening? The oxpecker picks the bugs off the rhino so the rhino gets free pest control and bird gets a meal. What do we call this? Mutualism – when both organisms benefit from the relationship/interaction.

The rams are fighting They both want the right to mate with the ladies Intraspecies/Intraspecific Competition – when one organism competes with another organism of the same species for resources.
