Monday November 5th - WOW = Refine - to make or become clear or clearer Learning Targets - RI Standard 3 I can analyze how events and ideas are connected, introduced, developed, and ordered. Activating Strategy on Chromebooks: Create 3 kennings about yourself. A kenning is a figurative expression that replaces a name or a noun. Each kenning must have two or more words. For example, a football player might call themselves “the pigskin player” because footballs are made out of pigskin. A car that uses a lot of gas might be called a gas guzzler. A child might be referred to as an ankle-biter. A person who likes to read might be called a bookworm. Vocabulary (define): Event, series, connection, comparison, and distinction. Complete Schoolnet 9/10 - 10/29 - BY6 = 9th 9/10 Standards 1 and 2 - KE2 = 8th Literacy Assignment Read and annotate the questions and passages Exit Ticket

Literacy Assignment Annotate questions and passages Remember, questions tend to have themes or common ideas that help you understand how to think about the passage.
