Why don’t people want to hear about Jesus? ‘As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.’ Ephesians 2:1

Why are people so disinterested in Jesus? Because they are spiritually dead – Ephesians 2:1 Spiritually dead = separated from God Serious consequences: We are ‘objects of wrath’ – Ephesians 2v3 We actually prefer darkness to light - John 3:19–20 Our hearts are hard - Ephesians 4:18 We are unable to submit to God - Romans 8:7 We unable to believe and accept Jesus as Saviour - 1 Corinthians 2:14

What is the answer? Why are people so disinterested in Jesus? God has to give people new life Ephesians 2:5, John 6:44 and 6v65 Now all this has some very real implications for us: Those who have new life should be profoundly grateful to God If you have been born again then we must live differently It means we can relax in our witnessing! It should cause us to pray, pray, pray!
