Hardware to be removed FMS-PVXDM-DV-1 PROVOX™ Highway to be removed Primary PROVOX™ Highway Secondary PROVOX™ Highway PROVOX™ Controller PROVOX™ controller to be removed File : DM6003 6 I/O cards 19’’ - 4U The file is removed including all the 10-Series I/O cards, the power supply and communication cards Process I/Os stay in place in existing cable trays, they have to be rewired on the ADP-DM removable connectors Process I/Os

PROVOX™ 10-Series > DeltaV™ With ADP-DM adapters FMS-PVXDM-DV-1 PROVOX™ 10-Series > DeltaV™ With ADP-DM adapters Process I/Os You just have to rewire process I/Os from the existing PROVOX™ terminal blocks to the ADP-DM removable connectors (on the same labels) And remove the entire old PROVOX™ 10-Series DM6003 file (4U)

PROVOX™ 10-Series > DeltaV™ With ADP-DM adapters FMS-PVXDM-DV-1 PROVOX™ 10-Series > DeltaV™ With ADP-DM adapters Connect the ADP-DM to the new DeltaV™ system using suitable FIRELEC cables Install the new FIRELEC BC-11008 file with ADP-DM (3U) Connect back the removable connectors wired with the process I/Os to the ADP-DM The remaining space (1U) allows to install the cable tray for system cables No existing PROVOX™ hardware is kept (I/O File – I/O card) Existing PROVOX™ files are replaced by new FIRELEC BC-11008 which are electrically and mechanically fully compatible Existing wiring is kept in place Process I/Os

Hardware to be installed FMS-PVXDM-DV-1 Hardware to be installed Primary DeltaV™ Highway The new DeltaV™ architecture Secondary DeltaV™ Highway Cntrl PS I/O1 I/O2 I/O3 I/O4 I/O5 I/O6 I/O7 I/O8 New FIRELEC I/O cables are installed between ADP-DM and DeltaV™ I/O cards File : BC-11008 (6 I/O cards - 19’’ - 3U) + 1U system cable tray ADP-DM are installed in the FIRELEC BC-11008 file, replacing the old PROVOX™ 10-Series DM6003 file Process I/Os

Advantages FMS-PVXDM-DV-1 The main advantages of the ADP-DM adapters for PROVOX™ 10-Series migration are as follow : The existing I/O wiring is kept in place (same terminals, same labels and same electrical characteristics). The existing I/O wiring is simply disconnected from the DM 10-Series PROVOX™ front terminal block and then reconnected to the ADP-DM without any modification of the existing wiring (same labels and same electrical characteristics). The existing loop drawings are slightly affected, allowing a minor and quick update of them. Maintenance procedures are virtually unchanged.
