Our literacy focus this week is making predictions and connections as we read. We will also being drafting our first mystery writing task. In grammar, we will be learning about state of being verbs, helping verbs and verb phrases. Math: We will begin our second unit on representing, comparing and ordering whole numbers. Social Studies: We will look at artefacts from the past as a primary source and begin our study of early First Nations peoples of Eastern Canada. Science: We will continue our study of the digestive system. Arts: We will continue to explore with lines, colour and shapes. Please get connected onto Class Dojo so I can send communication out to all parents Our Fall Chandos trip is coming up from October 2 to 4th. I will be sending a list of parent volunteers to the school administration this week. Please let me know if you would like to join us on our trip. We are in need for empty 2Lsoda bottles for a Chandos activity!
