AP Language and Composition Definition of a Word AP Language and Composition

Directions: From the following lists, choose an abstract word or preposition that interests you. 2. Compose a one-page constructed response (double spaced, TNR, 12 pt font)

Define the preposition in your own creative way. Define the word in your own words. Use examples to illustrate the word’s meaning. Use similes and metaphors. Discuss what the word connotes. Explain how the word affects a sentence or a situation. Share the word’s etymology. Offer conjectures of what our limits would be without the word in our lexicon. Compare/constrast your word with others.

If you are up for a real challenge... Try to type a one-page report on a preposition from the following slide.
