MSJC REGISTRATION To get a Registration Date, all the boxes have to be checked: Application, Orientation, Assessment, Counseling Register for Classes via EagleAdvisor Class schedules come out approx: March/April and Oct/Nov Registration Starts Typically: NOV (for Spring), MAY (for Summer), JULY (for Fall) More units taken, earlier registration date College Level Math and English, earlier registration date Ed goal to transfer to a 4 year and get an AA degree, earlier registration date No previous degree, earlier registration date

!!!START CLASSES!!! FUN!!! Have students start the process semester before starting classes (3-4 months) before the new term starts It is a LONG process Review Student Programs they could be eligible for If not sure about their major/career interest have them explore subject areas and work with a counselor Remind students to communicate with Instructors at start of semester and throughout Have students meet with a counselor regularly (1 time a semester) Good times to meet with a counselor is: Feb/March and Oct…easier to get in to see a counselor and gives them plenty time to plan and prep for next semester
