PROCEDURES Mrs. Rose’s Fifth Grade 2018-2019

ENTERING THE BUILDING (MORNING) * Remove hat. * Walk to class. * Walk on right side. * Greet teacher with a smile and handshake, hug, or high five.

ENTERING THE CLASSROOM (MORNING) * Put things on hook. * Put bin on floor. * Put chair down. * Read Morning Message. * No talking.

MORNING MEETING * Listen respectfully. * Look at the person who’s talking. * Keep your body in control. * Raise your hand if you want to talk. * Keep you hand down when someone is speaking. * Make room for everyone in the circle. * Offer thoughtful questions and comments.

QUIET TIME * Make your choice. * No talking. * Stay in spot/seat. * Wait for signal.

CLOSING CIRCLE * Listen respectfully. * Look at the person who’s talking. * Keep your body in control. * Make room for everyone in the circle.

TRANSITION * Clear area. * Stay in seat. * No talking. * Wait for directions.

CLEAN – UP * Put materials away. * Check floor around you. * No talking.

LINING UP * Face forward in line order. * Hands, feet, and objects to self. * Personal space. * No noise.
