Korean kitchen Name of restaurant Name of restaurant is Korean kitchen. This name is easy to remember and simple.

logo I just want to make it simple. Symbol is K and K is wearing Cook hat. That is simple and customer to easy to understand.

Why Korean food? ・Korean food is getting popular in Australia. ・Spicy and tasty ・eating lots of vegetables. Korean food is getting common in Australia nowadays. Lots of restaurant in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, however there is not in Byron Bay yet. Korean food is mainly spicy taste but there is getting popular for using cheese so we can enjoy not spicy Korean food too. Also lots of vegetable can be eaten for example Korean BBQ is used Korean lettuce and onion, Kimuchi is made from Chinese cabbage. So it is healthy food.

Why located in Byron Bay Visitors are always from all of the world, even Australian come and visit on holiday Population gets increase Council considers to built west of Byron Bay. Asian foods are popular but not any Korean restaurant. In Byron Bay many tourists come to visit always busy place. Even many Australian comes for their holiday from Queens land or Victoria. Every year population gets increase in Byron Bay. That’s why Byron Council consider to build up west of Byron Bay, If they built it up it is going to be more population. In Byron Bay there is 4 of Japanese restaurants and 2 Chinese restaurants. They are always busy at dinner time. We can see it Asian food is loved in Byron Bay, however there is no Korean restaurant in here. It would be great timing to open. I am going to renat a shop at Marvel St there was Japaese restaurant and it closed now. So I can use kitchen straightly.

Cost of seed found Get a license to open AUD1,500 Rent AUD900 Renovation AUD5,000 Equipment AUD1,000 Firstly we need to get a license to opened restaurant cost would be AUD$1500 to apply. And Korean BBQ needs new stove in each table I am thinking set 5 tables so cost is around AUD$5000. Rent is AUD$900 per month in additional I have to have rent that for next 3 month because net profit increase from 2month or 3 month. Next, I would like to buy new equipment like a tong, chopsticks for cooking etc,,, Cost would be AUD$1000. Before open the restaurant we need to train and demonstration so that cost is about $400 for 2days. Also I consider to pay electricity and water is about AUD$100 per week. In odder to opened restaurant cost is AUD$ 9200.

budget AUD100 for water AUD 120 for electricity AUD 2000 for food supply per week Expenses is Water cost is AUD100, electricity is AUD120 per week. Also I consider to pay AUD 750 to meat supplier , AUD 750 to vegetable supplier and AUD 500 to alcohol supplier. If our business runs well and get a good relation ship with suppliers I would like to contract agreement with those supplier however I may be change the supplier so would prefer to pay per week at the moment.

/per hour include tax Staff Advertisement of hiring staff AUD$80 wage/ Head chef:AUD29 Cook; AUD25 Front; AUD20 /per hour include tax Also we need to looking for hiring staff. I would prefer add advertisement on gumtree, seek and Echo cost will be AUD$80. All set down then need to hiring staff about 5 people, 2people in kitchen and 3 people in front and dishwasher. Wage is that head chef is $29, Cook is $25 and front staff is $20 per hour include tax.

Menu Entrée is from $8 to $15. Main is between $18 to $25 Desserts are from $8 to $15 Beer $7.50 Korean alcohol $10 /250ml Orange juice $5 Coke $5 Entrée is Kimuchi, Namul, Seaweed salad etc.. Main is of course Korean BBQ, Noodles, Stir fry. Vegetarian option is available. Dessert is chocolate cake, ice cream and snow cone.

Consider to how much spend per person e,g… $40 Entrée, Main and drink 2Entree, Main and dessert Entrée, Main, dessert and drink $50 $55 I just made an example how much pre person spend. And I suggest that spend average $50 per person. I calculated that Weekday is that 20 customer to come , weekend is 35 person to come. Average : $50 per person

Opening hour Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Time 5pm to 9pm (last order) When I open the restaurant I just open dinner time. Also Sunday and Monday are less that people goes out so would prefer closed. Opening hour is from 5pm and last order is till 9pm. However if I could get steady net profit I consider to open lunch time as well. Staffs are working start from 4pm for preparation and finish 10pm included clean up.

Sales points NO Korean restaurant in Byron Bay. Byron Bay is great to hospitality business. People love Asian food. In conclusion, I strongly suggest to open Korean restaurant in Byron Bay. Reason what I talked today. It will be very unique and independent restaurant. People is must interested in it. Population and visitor definitely will be increased every year.
