MATH Teaching 5th grade math for 4 years Focus on sticking with it when it gets difficult, trying multiple strategies Checking work and slowing down… Not just, “Is the question answered?” but, “Is the question answered correctly?” and, “Does my answer make sense?” Cutting corners, working carefully
