Mrs. Tuten’s Newsletter Week of January 3-11, 2019 Word Study Words Students will be tested “next” Friday. These are some examples of word patterns that will be used. The words on this list will not necessarily be the ones tested, but they will follow this spelling pattern. Each night make the words on the sheet and practice rhyming words to go with them Blends (sc, st, sw, sl) step swim slip slim scab stop swamp swag slap slop scan scam scum stem stud star stub swig swam slab sled slob Sight Words Students will be tested “Next” Friday. Students will have to say each word instantly, without sounding them out.
