We will be preparing for our Coffeehouse(Feb. 2) by learning our songs, movements, and lines. Children need to wear khaki pants and an Academy wear shirt for costumes. We continue with the subject of weather in our reading unit as we explore descriptive words, practice classifying and categorizing, and identify the use of headings on text. Many families remember this holiday by performing service for others. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday! Math… In math we are telling and solving addition and subtraction word problems. We are also skip counting by tens and fives. We continue to look at partner numbers and to find the ten inside the teen numbers. The children are using equals and not equal signs. To Remember Thank you for sending in your ”Circle H” bag. We will send the bags home periodically so items can be washed. Please have your child practice putting their snow gear on by themselves so we can all go out and play in the snow! Weather Watching Now that cold weather has arrived, please send gloves or mittens and a hat with your child each day for outside play.
