Journey of Joy – Bring Others With Your are not a Project July 23, 2017

Jesus is our Good Shepherd. He enters by the gate. He speaks to the sheep. He calls His sheep by name. He leads the sheep out. He goes ahead of the sheep. He allows the sheep to know Him. He is the gate. He saves. He allows the sheep to move around. He gives life to the full for the sheep. He owns the sheep. He knows the sheep. He is looking to gather more sheep. He lays down his life for the sheep. He gives eternal security.

Jesus is the good shepherd.

Not the Good Shepherd Will not be followed. Climbs into the pen not through the gate. His voice is not known His voice is not listened too. thieves and robbers steal, kill and destroy Does not own the sheep Runs away when the wolf comes Cares nothing for the sheep

Are you God’s project?

Jesus Cares Deeply for you and you are not His Project. Isaiah 40:11 He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

Jesus Cares Deeply for you and you are not His Project. Joel 2:13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.

Because I am not God's project, I will not make others my project either. Galatians 5:13 You my brothers were called to be free, but do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh, rather serve one another humbly in love.

Because I am not God's project, I will not make others my project either. John13:34:35 A new command I give you, love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.

People are not your projects. They are here for us to love and invest in, regardless of their response to you or the Gospel.
