What is the Tulalip Vocational Training Center Free, 500 hour, 16 week construction pre- apprenticeship program with stipend Offered to Native Americans, their spouses and parents Exposes students to a variety of career choices in the trades Includes classes in core construction skills, blueprint reading, measurements and layout

What is the Tulalip Vocational Training Center cont’d Safety, tool and equipment certification Structural trades Electrical and mechanical trades Sustainable building practices Trades Math Communication for the trades Human Relations for the trades

What key values drive the TVTC model? Takes a whole family approach to assessing and connecting students and their families to community resources Honors Native American culture and traditions Embraces the belief that when parents thrive, so do children, and when children thrive, so do their parents
