Transaction Procedures Welcome to BSIP 101 Transaction Procedures “Flag Material For Deletion” Instructor: Stephen Wright DPI Technical Consultant

This transaction should only be used for materials on which all inventory has been depleted and the material will no longer be used.

Purpose: To remove depleted material from the Plant’s inventory list.

One transaction is required to complete this procedure: ZMM06 Let’s get started -

Your screen should look similar to the example at the right. From the SAP R/3 Easy Access screen box type ZMM06 or from your favorites menu, select transaction ZMM06 – Flag Material for Deletion_Plant. Your screen should look similar to the example at the right.

Flag Material for Deletion: Initial Screen A new window opens: Flag Material for Deletion: Initial Screen Enter the following: Material – DOT # of item extending to your plant. (Ex: For training purposes we selected FQA008425) Plant - Enter your four digit plant code (Ex: 6056 = Macon). Storage Loc. – Location where material is stored. (Ex: 8490 = Macon) Press <Enter> or click Continue Icon to progress.

Flag Material for Deletion: Data Screen A new window opens: Flag Material for Deletion: Data Screen Note: ü Either the storage location check box (to remove from only one storage location), or the plant level check box to remove the material from the entire plant. Click Save Icon to record changes.

The system will return to the SAP Easy Access screen and a message in the status bar will state that the deletion flags changed. Note: The materials will no longer show in the Plant’s Inventory List.

Tip: If you discover later that you would like to utilize a particular DOT # that was flagged for deletion; do NOT panic. Merely repeat the procedures and uncheck the boxes that were previously checked and save the changes. The DOT # will then be available to stock once again.
