Reminders Make sure to label all jackets and sweaters that come to school. There is no “Lost and Found” at MCE. Lost jackets will be returned to their owners when they are found--if there is a name. Also be sure to send any money coming to school in an envelope or ziplock bag with your child’s name and the money’s purpose. Lunch money can suddenly become Fun Friday money in your first grader’s mind if it is not labeled. Fall Conference time is just around the corner. Check your child’s folder for notes about scheduling a time to talk with his/her teacher. We will discuss your child’s progress and make sure you understand the first grade non-graded report card. Don’t miss this important opportunity to know how your child is progressing in school. The weather is changing and many kids are bringing jackets and sweaters which are needed in the morning and in the classroom, but then discarded once the day warms up. Remember to label them all so they can be returned to their owner. Signed papers need to be signed and returned promptly. Please review them with your student and return them with your signature the next day.
