THE DIVINE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING – Galatians 6:7 God is raising faithful sowers to reap bountiful harvests from His treasure store!

KEY THOUGHT Laws established by men are not constant, but God’s laws cannot change. The time-tested law of sowing and reaping as decreed by God cannot change. We rob ourselves of God’s blessings and prosperity when we withhold from Him. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” - Galatians 6:7

THE PRINCIPLE OF SOWING AND REAPING Description of the principle: It is God’s law – Gen 8:22; Ecc. 3:1-2 It works both positively and negatively – Pr. 11:18; 22:8 Reaping is proportionate to what is sown – II Cor. 9:6 You reap what you sow – Gal. 6:7 You reap more than what you sow – Matt. 13:8 There is a waiting time – James 5:7b “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”- Gen. 8:22

THE PRACTICE OF SOWING AND REAPING Faulty practices: Sowing sparingly – II Cor. 9:6 Sowing wrong seeds – Gal 6:8 Sowing on bad soil – Luke 8:5-7 Right practices: Sowing bountifully – II Cor. 9:6 Sowing widely – Prov. 11:24 Sowing wisely – Hosea 8:7 Sowing proportionately – I Cor. 16:2 Sowing timely – Eccl. 3:2 Sowing expectantly – Mal. 3:10 “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”- II Cor. 9:6

PROSPERITY FOR RELENTLESS SOWERS God never disappoints. He keeps His promises to faithful sowers: Abraham – Gen 22:16-18 Isaac – Gen 26:12-13 Widow of Zarepath – I Kgs. 17:14-15 Solomon – I Kings 3:3-4 You are the next in line! Purpose to sow faithfully and see what harvest the Lord will give you! “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”- Ps. 126:6
