Finding and Replacing Text ACTIVITY 3.1 Finding and Replacing Text Open FCTPetersburg.docx, then save as WordS3-01. Press Ctrl + A to select entire document, click No Spacing in Home tab, then press Ctrl + Home to move insertion point to beginning of document. Note that Mitkof is spelled incorrectly as Mitkoff. To display Find and Replace box click Replace in Home tab.

To change page orientation click Orientation in Page Layout, tab then click Landscape at drop-down list.

At Page Setup box with Margins tab selected, click down-pointing arrow at right side of Bottom until 10 displays. Click up-pointing arrow at right side of Left option until 1.50 displays. Select current measurement in Right text box, then type 1.5 and click OK.

Note how document is affected by Legal page size. To return to default page size, click Size, then click Letter.

Move insertion point to Visitor Attractions, click Shading arrow, then click Blue, Accent 2, Lighter 80%. Apply same shading (Blue, Accent 2, Lighter 80%) to remaining heads. Save Word S3-01.docx.

To insert a watermark click Page Layout tab, click Watermark in Page Background group, scroll down and click DRAFT 1 option. To apply a page color click Page Color in Page Background group, then click Gold, Accent 4, Lighter 80%.

At Borders and Shading box select Page Border tab, click down-pointing arrow at right side of Art box, scroll down list of page borders, click art border, then click OK. Move insertion point to beginning of Services, then insert a page break by clicking Insert tab, Page Break.

Save, then print WordS3-01.docx. To remove page color click Page Layout tab, click Page Color, then click No Color. To change orientation click Orientation, then click Portrait.

Click Home tab, then click Show/Hide button. To delete page break before Services position insertion point at beginning of page break, then press Delete key twice.

Click Show/Hide to turn off display of nonprinting characters. To add a blank page at end of document, press Ctrl + End, click Insert tab, then click Blank Page.

Insert current year in [Year] field, type Alaska Fact Sheets in [Type the document title] field, type your first and last names in Author placeholder, type First Choice Travel in [Type the company name] field, select date and type current date. Save WordS3-01.docx.

Position insertion point at beginning of page break below text on fourth page, then press Delete. Click Show/Hide to turn off display of nonprinting characters.

At gallery of predesigned page numbers click Thick Line.

Double-click in body of document. To insert footer in document click Insert tab, click Footer in Header & Footer group, scroll down footer list, then click Sideline.

Note how header and footer appear on each page, except cover page. To remove footer click Insert tab, click Footer, then click Remove Footer. To insert a new footer click Insert tab, click Footer, scroll through list, then click Mod (Odd Page).

To edit header click Insert tab, click Header, then click Edit Header at drop-down list. Hover pointer over title in header, then click Title tab at top of Title element.

ACTIVITY 3.8 Using Click and Type; Vertically Aligning Text; Inserting, Sizing, and Moving an Image Press Ctrl + N to display clear document screen. Position I-beam pointer between left and right margins at about 3.25-inch mark on horizontal ruler and vertical ruler. When center alignment lines display below I-beam pointer, double-click left mouse button.

After typing first line of right-aligned text, press Shift + Enter to move insertion point to next line. Select centered text, then change font to 14-point Arial bold.

To vertically center text on page, click Page Layout tab, then click Page Setup dialog box launcher. Click Layout tab, click down-pointing arrow at right side of Vertical alignment, then click Center.

To return vertical alignment to Top, click Page Setup dialog box launcher, click Layout tab, click down-pointing arrow at right side of Vertical alignment, click Top, then click OK to close.

Click image shown. If image is not available, choose another image related to travel. To close Clip Art task pane click Close. travel

To add shadow effect to clip art image click fourth option from left in Picture Styles.

Select, then delete First Choice Travel in small font size at right side of document. Insert First Choice Travel logo below Sponsored by. Click Insert tab, then click Picture.

With image selected, hold down Shift, then drag one corner sizing handle (circles) to reduce size of logo, as shown. With image still selected, click Text Wrapping, then click Tight at drop-down list.

Hold down left mouse button, drag to desired location, then release. Click outside logo to deselect. Save, print, then close WordS3-02.docx.

In Product number list, click 5630 in list box, then click OK to close. Click New Document at Envelopes and Labels dialog box. Save document and name it WordS3-04. Print, then close WordS3-04.docx.
