ELIGIBILITY EVERY ADULT AND STUDENT ENROLLED IN PUBLIC, PRIVATE AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS IN STATES WITH PARTICIPATING NCDA DIVISIONS
CONTEST DIVISIONS PRIMARY GRADES K – 2 INTERMEDIATE GRADES 3 – 5 MIDDLE GRADES 6 – 8 SENIOR GRADES 9 – 12 ADULT STUDENT 18 AND OLDER ADULT 18+ NOT IN-SCHOOL
JUDGING CRITERIA Judging will be based on originality, creativity, and development of the national theme. Poems will be evaluated on form, execution, spelling and grammar. Posters – media, lettering and basic principles of art. Conformance to size requirements.
CONTEST DEADLINES NOVEMBER 14, 2007: Submit school entries to Regional Career Specialist or Title I Education and Business Alliance in your region DECEMBER 4, 2007: Regional winners submitted for state competition

NATIONAL RECOGNITION National winners will be recognized with the winning entries posted on the NCDA website by April 15, Winning entries will also be on display at the Annual Global Conference in Washington, DC, July 9 – 11, Winners will receive a framed certificate and congratulatory gift from NCDA.
