What is Parents Gateway? A digital platform (by MOE and GovTech) to bring greater convenience to parents to perform simple administrative functions and receive relevant information from schools. The Parents Gateway mobile app was launched in January 2019 and will soon be rolled out to all schools in Singapore. Pasir Ris Crest Secondary is an early adopter of Parent Gateway and will implement for parents with Sec 1 students with immediate effect.

How do you sign up?

Download the app directly from your Play Store or App Store Keyword search ‘Parents Gateway’ Supported OS Versions: Android 6.0 or later & iOS 9.1 or later

Login with SingPass A guide for registering your SingPass account is inserted at the end of this handout. If you have issues signing in with Singpass, you may visit the SingPass website or contact their helpdesk at 6643-0555

Complete your Onboarding Retrieve your child’s details and verify the information to proceed

Frequently Asked Questions Who can access Parents Gateway (PG)? Access to the PG app is restricted to parents and legal guardians who are SingPass holders. Both parents can access their children’s information simultaneously from their respective PG accounts. Must I pay for the PG app and can I access it on the computer? PG is free-of-charge and is only available as a mobile application supporting OS versions of Android 6.0 & iOS 9.1 or later. Does the usage of the app require large data consumption? Parents Gateway does not require large data consumption.

Frequently Asked Questions I have more than 1 child, do I require multiple accounts? You will be able to access all your children’s information through a single platform on PG, even if your children are attending different schools. Will hardcopy letters/consent forms continue to be sent to parents? Schools will continue to issue hardcopy letters and consent forms to parents and legal guardians who are unable to onboard Parents Gateway. Can I communicate with my child’s teacher directly via the app? This feature is not available at this point in time.

Annex A – Instructional Guide Step 2 – Download Parents Gateway Mobile App Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store app on your mobile phone. Search for the ‘Parents Gateway’ mobile app, or scan the QR code below. Download and install the app onto your phone.
