Now, it’s glow came back thanks to main contractor KOTO and ALP inženjering company in charged of drylining works. These companies are specialized in reconstructions of cultural and historical monuments. The building was built in 1903. and upgraded in 1933. for State Mortgage Bank. After it was destroyed in World War II it has been reconstructed and adapted for museum in 1966. Today building belongs to National Museum which keeps more than 400.000 archeological and pieces of art. Sample text (high level project pitch) STRANDBADKIRCHBICHL is a visionary design project involving the construction of a new office building in a remote mountain region of Austria, with a design which reflected the crashing waves coming in from the nearby beach. Great technical skill and knowledge of interior systems was required in order to optimize lighting, acoustics and sound absorption within a very complex curved shaped structure which would not naturally provide this level of performance. This presentation will also be used on the book and on the website to present your project.

National Museum, Belgrade Museum is under protection of Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Serbia which was reason for special restrictions regarding the interior design and choice of materials which would be used. It is pronounced for building of general national significance!

National Museum, Belgrade All gypsum cornices were done in workshop on construction site in special made molds.

National Museum, Belgrade Almost every room has a different shape of decorative cornices. To decorative elements is given special attention and it represent the most striking detail of interior.

National Museum, Belgrade

National Museum, Belgrade Rigips Model gypsum was perfect solution for all these decorative elements.

National Museum, Belgrade Key challenges Specific demands in organization of works in order to protect priceless pieces of art Rigorous requirements for fire protection in exibition area Designing floor system details with Rigiplan boards with main architect on project Sample text Acoustics and light are the dominating elements in this project. The challenge was to allow maximal use of natural daylight using an unusually large funnel and integrating artificial lighting to complement natural light. The design however also had to provide an excellent level of acoustic performance in a challenging large open plan structure with high windowed ceilings. In addition to a combination of acoustics, sound absorption and light, there was particular emphasis on architecture and functionality through to the final finishing coating (Q4 surface quality) in order to meet the rigorous project standards.
