ALL AMERICAN H.O.G. CHAPTER # 3887 10th Annual RIDERS CONTEST Hughesville, MD 10th Annual RIDERS CONTEST (1-1-2019 – 12-31-2019) Name: _________________ Total Points:_____________ The Riders Contest is a log book of rides and other fun activities connected to your Harley-Davidson motorcycle. H.O.G. Chapter related events are also incorporated into the contest. Riding your bike and participating in group events is its own reward and the Riders Contest just adds to the fun.  1st place in total points will receive the following; your name on the rider’s contest plaque located at the AAHD dealership. $100.00 cash prize 2nd place in total points will receive the following; $50.00 cash prize. One $25 cash prize will be awarded to one entrant drawn randomly form the non-winners.   Copies of the complete book are available at Chapter Meetings, from Road Captains, or can be downloaded from the Chapter website.

This is an HONOR system contest!!! MARYLAND COUNTIES Earn 10 points for each MD County visited on your Harley. (Maximum 240 points) “No cars/trucks/other”. Any chapter member is eligible to participate whether as a rider or a passenger. Passengers should keep their own booklets with scores. In most categories you must ride your motorcycle to earn points (unless noted otherwise). The contest will begin January 1st and will run through December 31st. All points must be earned during the contest period. Winners will be announced at the January 2020 meeting. If any event qualifies toward more than one category, points will be awarded for each category. All contest booklets must be returned by January 2, 2020. Any member unable to attend chapter meetings may return their contest booklet to All American Harley-Davidson by January 2nd. Books can be placed in the chapter mailbox at dealership. National & State PARKS / Forests Earn 10 points for riding to & from on your Harley. Double your points on each when you include a photo of yourself with park sign. (Maximum 200 points ) “No cars/trucks/other”. Date Park Name Points Total Score Visit H-D DEALERSHIPS Earn 10 points for each visit to a H-D dealerships in Maryland. 20 points if visited in another state. “No cars/trucks/other”. (Maximum 250 points) Earn an extra 5 points if you bring a door prize from one of the dealerships visited and donate it at an AA HOG chapter meeting. State Dealership NEW HOG FRIENDS Earn 10 points for each new H.O.G. member you meet from a different H.O.G. chapter. You can only use one member from a H.O.G. chapter. Get his/her name and a chapter name and document it into your Rider’s Book. (Maximum 150 points ) Date Name of H.O.G. member Chapter Name Total Score Personal Epic Ride Earn 100 points doing a ride you feel was an “epic” ride for you! May be as simple as riding a particular road or bridge to get over a fear of it, your first overnight ride, going to your first rally. Or may be bigger such as riding cross country, to Alaska, Maine to Florida, etc. Extra 25 points for doing a newsletter article about the ride. Brief Ride Description: Page 3 Page 12

CHAPTER MEETINGS MILEAGE Program ABC’S of RESTURANTS Points will be awarded for attending the monthly chapter Meetings. Earn 20 points for riding Harley to the meeting. 10 points if you drive to the meeting. Jan: Feb: Mar: Apr: May: Jun: Jul: Aug: Sep: Oct: Nov: Dec: Total Score MILEAGE Program Points will be awarded for each 1000 miles ridden during calendar year. Earn 20 points for each 1000 miles. Earn 20 points for participating in H.O.G. mileage program. (No Maximum) H.O.G. Mileage & Ride 365 Yes / No Miles Begin End Bike #1 Bike #2 ABC’S of RESTURANTS Visit a restaurant on your Harley for each letter of the alphabet. You must eat or have a soft drink there to receive points. Any major initial in the name can be used but each restaurant name can only be used once. Ride Smart – Ride Sober… (Example: Dixie Castle could only be used as D or C.) These events must be posted on the Chapter calendar. CHAPTER EVENTS & SOCIALS CHAPTER RIDES To qualify as a Chapter ride the ride must: be posted on the Chapter website or announced in advance via e-blast and on Chapter Facebook page; be lead by a Chapter Road Captain; and have at least two bikes attending.
