The Rainforest Science - Materials Geography 1 Amazon Rainforest- understand geographical similarities and differences through looking closely at the physical geography of a small area of the United Kingdom, and of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. 2 The location of Rainforests- use world maps, atlases and globes to identify the United Kingdom and its countries, as well as the countries, continents studied in this topic. 3 Weather- Explore and identify seasonal and daily weather patterns in the United Kingdom and the location of hot and cold areas of the world in relation to the Equator and the North and South Poles. The Rainforest Science - Materials 1 Identify and name a variety of common and unusual animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. We will look to explore animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.
