Aims How Charlie Waller Memorial Trust can help to ‘develop a ‘whole school or workplace approach’ linking to early intervention How we can compliment the current offers within the area cwmt.org.uk

Our Vision Our vision is of a world where people understand and talk openly about depression, where young people know how to maintain wellbeing, and where the most appropriate treatment is available to everyone who needs it. We sponsor a Chair in Evidence-based Psychological Treatment at The Charlie Waller Institute (CWI). CWI is based at the University of Reading which provides excellent support for it. Professor Shirley Reynolds, Director of CWI, oversees an extensive programme of training, education and research that contributes significantly to the Trust’s aim of ensuring that expert and evidence-based help is available when people need it. We also support other research studies that meet our charitable objectives and priorities. cwmt.org.uk

Funded Mental Health Training We provide funded training and workshops on a range of mental health issues for pupils, parents and staff working with young people. If you would like training at your school or organisation, please email training@cwmt.org or visit cwmt.org.uk for more information Also we do this through an experienced team of individuals who have ‘walked the shoes’ or years of supporting individuals within the sector for years.
