INDIA DIWALI MAKAR SANKRANTI It is a hindu festival celebrated in India. It is also known as festival of lights. This festival commonly comes in the month of October and November. MAKAR SANKRANTI It is the festival of kites. On this day every person fly kites.It comes on 14th January .

NAVRATRI It is the festival of goddess durga . In this festival people worship goddess durga for nine days. DUSSEHRA This festival celebrate just after navratri . In this festival a big demon’s statue burn up and festival celebrated.

CHINA YUAN XIAO FESTIVAL MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL Also called the traditional Lantern Festival in China, Yuan Xiao Festival is held on the 15th day after the Spring Festival. It marks the continuation and end of the New Year celebration. This festival involves enjoying the sight of beautiful lanterns of different shapes and sizes at night. The lantern shows bring people from all over the world to witness the amazing designs and colors. A traditional Chinese food called Tangyuan is also eaten on this day. Held On: 19 February 2019 QIXI FESTIVAL This is a festival where girls show their art work, handicrafts, and wish for a good husband while the boys on the other hand, send flowers to girls. Young couples often go out shopping to celebrate this day as Qixi Festival is a traditional holiday that was named “China’s Valentine’s Day” recently. It is a fun day for young people to enjoy themselves and have a great time with their peers. Held On: 7 August 2019

PAKISTHAN EID-UL-FITR EID-UL-AZAH Eid-ul-Fitr is a religious festival celebrated at the end of fasting month, Ramadan on 1st of Shawwal. It is a three days celebration during which time family and friends gather together for long meals, the sharing of gifts, and religious devotion. EID-UL-AZAH Eid-ul-Azha is a three days celebration when Muslims from all over the world offer a sacrifice by slaughtering a sheep, cow, or goat following the traditional Islamic customs. It is also called the Festival of Sacrifice. The meat from the sacrifice is shared by friends, neighbors, relatives, and also distributed to the poor and needy.

LOK MELA The festival presents a unique opportunity to watch the culture and craft of the whole country at one place. This Folk Festival is held for one week at Islamabad. It includes Folk Music, songs, music contests, folk dances, craftsmen at work, exhibition and sale of handicrafts. SHAB-E-BARAT Shab-e-Barat is a religious festival celebrated on 14th of Shaaban. The festival of Shab-e-Barat is celebrated with pomp and enthusiasm by Muslims all over the world. Muslims believe that on the night of Shab-e-Barat Allah writes the destinies of all people for the coming year by taking into account the deeds committed by them in the past. On this festival, prayers, fire works, exchange of sweet dishes and visits to friends and families are held 

JAPAN GION MATSURI AWA ODORI Gion Matsuri is a one of the most famous festivals in Japan. It takes place during the entire month of July, but the highlight is the grand procession of floats called "Yamaboko Junko" on the 17th and 24th. It takes place on the Kawaramachi and Oike Streets. AWA ODORI This is the largest traditional dance festival in Japan. Men, women and children dance on almost all of the streets in Tokushima City, from the 12th to the 15th of August.  They wear summer cotton kimono and straw hats. More than a million people get together for this festival, and it is a spectacular sight. You can even join them to dance with the rhythmic music!

KANDA MATSURI YUKI MATSURI Kanda Matsuri is one of the most famous festivals in Tokyo and is a festival for the Kanda Myojin Shrine. The main action happens during the middle of May. The portable shrines, called Mikoshi, are  accompanied by about a thousand people, and after they leave the Kanda Myojin Shrine in the morning, the  parade continues through the Kanda district, Nihonbashi and Akihabara and returns to the shrine in the evening. YUKI MATSURI Sapporo's Yuki Matsuri takes place in February. The origin of this festival was six snow statues built by local high school students in 1950, and now it has become an international contest of gigantic snow sculptures.
