Fife InS:PIRE Team Fife

What Worked Well Venue/Signage Exercise class Citizens Advice Team bench 1:1 consultations

What We Noticed/Learned Timing of patient selection We are dependent upon Colette The slidesets are too generic for Fife Didactic presentations less well received The patient interaction takes a lot of work and wasn’t as good as we had hoped –patients travel in pairs! Some patients didn’t come back Delirium

How Did It Feel EXCITING!! A wee bit anxiety provoking –what if no-one turns up! Rewarding Worthwhile Frustrating

What We Plan To Test Next Change week 1 More explanation and team introductions Try to emphasis the peer support element early to encourage interations between attendees Quicker 1:1 to try and identify issues to allow programme to be tailored for individuals

What we plan to test next Additional “faculty” –enlist interested ICM doctors, senior nurses and volunteers Try splitting group for psychology sessions Review slide sets to personalise to Fife’s needs Weekly debrief to share information between team members

What We Need Help With How best to utilise ALISS –within the clinic? Are there any tricks for getting the cohort to interact?

What We Could Help With Contact press office with pre-prepared press statement We missed the press call and the opportunity to raise awareness of our work Directions to the Famous Anstruther Chippy!
