Tallinn Declaration on eGovernment Adopted Friday, 6 October by EU and EEA/EFTA https://tinyurl.com/TLLEGOV As of July this year, Estonia will hold the presidency of the Council of the European Union. This is a role we take on with a sense of responsibility, but also with great enthusiasm and hope. We believe that Europe has plenty of common ground to come together to successfully tackle all the challenges that face us today, also making the most of the many possibilities ahead. Our role is to find a balance between the different views, traditions and interests in Europe today to achieve the best possible outcome for European citizens. The story of Estonia is ingrained in the two values, between which we need to find balance and synergy. At the root of things is the connection with pristine nature, at the top is a story of future and possibility through new technology and ways of living. The aim of finding balance and synergy between the natural and man-made, old and new, is our unfolding story.
