1 Corinthians 1:25 “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”

I Enoch WALKED With God (Genesis 5:21-24) A. He Pleased God (Heb. 11:5-6) B. He Was of the Same Mind C. He Was a Man of Prayer

II The CIRCUMSTANCES Surrounding This Walk A. Enoch’s Personal Life B. Enoch’s Environment

Jude 14-15 “And about these also Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.’”

III The CONCLUSION of This Walk A. Translated – “Seeing No Death B. He Was Not Found C. God Took Him

Conclusion and Summary To have “walked with God” Enoch had to have lived a life that was extraordinary: 1. Walking with God is to live by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7) 2. Walking with God is to follow the leading of the Spirit and not the desires of our own nature (Gal. 5:16) 3. Walking with God is a life of loving sacrifice and not selfish ambition (Eph. 5:2) 4. Walking with God is to live a life of holiness in an unholy society ( 1 Jn. 1:6-7).

Conclusion and Summary 5. Walking with God is to live a life of obedi- ence resembling the walk of Jesus ( 1 Jn 2:6). 6. Walking with God is to walk in the truth and not in the lies of the world (2 Jn 4).
