FIRST HUNDRED DAYS – 3 RS RELIEF, RECOVERY, and REFORM RELIEF BANK HOLIDAY – to stabilize the banking industry which was failing because of widespread panic, FDR declared a BANK HOLIDAY. All banks closed until federal inspectors would find the bank financially sound. HOMEOWNERS and FARM OWNERS received emergency loans UNEMPLOYMENT – addressed with government work programs
