Classroom Requirements Materials: Wide Rule Composition Notebook Boys- 1 large bottle of glue to leave in the classroom Girls- 2 large glue sticks to leave in the classroom

Class Behavior and Expectations

Expectations: Be Prompt! BE POLITE! Show Respect! We will set up a social contract in two weeks

No Bullying!!!!!!!!! We do NOT bully others!!!!!! We will try to help students who are bullied. We will try to include students who are left out. If we know that somebody is being bullied, then we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.

Science is Awesome! We will learn interesting facts and complete exciting labs this year. HOWEVER: in order for everyone to learn, Please raise your hand and wait for permission to speak.

Behavior: If you are not following the social contract or lab safety rules the following actions will be taken: You will be given a yellow warning card. Stay after class to sign the book. 2. If it still continues, you will be given a red card and will be assigned a lunch detention. If behavior continues- Office referral and parent phone call.

No chewing gum in science lab!

Make Up Work If you miss a day of class, please see me for make up work. You will be given 2 days to complete missing work. Lunch detention will be assigned if make up work is not received in time.

Late Work 1 Day Late: you loose -20 points 2 Days Late: You will be given a 50 for a grade 3 Days Late: Missing Assignment (zero)

A DAY in Class…….. When you enter the classroom, you will need to get your science notebook. Take care of all your business and report to your seat. Then you need to work on the Warm Up located front of the room. Turn in papers in the Turn In box next to the exit door.

Classroom Procedures Please enter the room through the door located in the back. Please EXIT out the door in the front of the room. If you need to use the restroom, please ask for permission. Then sign out and take the pass. Be sure to use the restroom located next to us. DO NOT LEAVE THIS ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION!

Homework Folders Please Come To Class With Your Homework Folders! We will use it often and it is important to keep up with it!
