INTRODUCTION Petograph is an innovation that improves diagnosis, Management and follow up of pregnant mothers with Pre- eclampsia. Its aimed at solving the problem of early detection through community sensitization, screening and periodic surveillance, while providing prompt diagnosis through early referral, effective treatment and follow up of pre-eclamptic patients.

STATEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE GAP Hypertensive disorders (pre-eclampsia- Eclampsia) in pregnancy is one of the leading cause of preventable maternal morbity and mortality globally, has no known universally acceptable monitoring tool like the partograph use in the monitoring of women in labour.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES To provide early diagnosis and timely referral of patients with preeclampsia To provide effective management of patients with preeclampsia To ensure efficient follow of patients To establish comprehensive data management system on preeclampsia To provide elaborate database for research. To develop a universally acceptable monitoring tool for the effective management of pre-eclampsia.
