Meduflex Staff Meeting March 2017

General Information/Announcements: Please copy Jennifer & Brittany together for ALL emails to get response and follow up in a timely fashion Responding to “all” with group emails – please be mindful! Nurse of the Year for Meduflex voting will come out soon! Employee Engagement Scores: High Tier 2 69% participation Opportunities for improvement Meduflex Improvement Survey hand out

Requirements/Tiers/Scheduling: Working over your FTE: For X, A & B Tier Employees: You may not work consistently over 30 hrs a week (per ACA guidelines) Tier Agreements: If you have not worked for 15 days, you will be separated; please communicate with Jennifer & Brittany M/F and S/S requirements Must be 12 hr shifts for these high demand shifts Guidelines for working extra: Cannot exceed 60 hrs a week Cannot work more than 5 consecutive shifts

Requirements/Tiers/Scheduling Cont’d: Schedule adjustments/changes: Must be 48 hrs notice and please try your best to limit these adjustments to emergent situations Do not call Jennifer directly to change schedule – all must be through RMC Incidental Work Time: Clocking in no earlier than 7 minutes prior to your shift, clocking out on time as well Light Duty: There is no light duty accepted per HR guidelines, and reviewed case by case, if you have not been totally cleared to come back to work, you cannot work until fully cleared to perform job duties

Requirements/Tiers/Scheduling Cont’d: Checking Smart Square: Please check Smart Square after 5:30AM or 5:30PM for your assignment, do not call the RMC for your assignment until 5:35am or 5:35 pm. PLEASE make sure your name/phone number/etc. is up to date and correct in Smart Square and MyRecords ! On Call: All RN’s will now be on call for their shifts, effective April 2nd (instead of being late started)

Holiday Requirements: Per recommendations given by our ACNO: Meduflex care team members will no longer be required to work actual holidays Instead, each tier will be designated to work a specific number of days before OR after the holiday X: no requirement A: 1 day before or after holidays (one holiday per year) B: 2 days before or after holidays (one summer and one winter holiday per year) C: 3 days before or after holidays (one summer and one winter holiday per year)

RMC Office Updates: PLEASE try to give respect to the RMC staffing office while they give report, and not come into the office or call between 7a-730a, and 1900-1930 unless it’s a critical need Sign up for texting feature for Smart Square Update name/phone/contact information in MyRecords, SmartSquare, etc. We need this information for your employee file as well Forms are here to fill out if needed

Education Reminders Certification renewals (BLS, ACLS, etc) you do not need to fill out education leave form Tuition reimbursement Need receipt for payment form with name included and course Competencies and all MyQuest lessons are due by June 30th! These must be completed during downtime, cannot/will not be paid to finish these outside of work hours
