Accelerating Transitions Emerging Supervisor Plant Managers Manager Executive Leadership Transitions for Emerging Leaders Leadership Transitions for Supervisors Leadership Transitions for Plant Managers Leadership Transitions for Managers Leadership Transitions for Executives Maximizing Growth Opportunities in New Assignments On-boarding Planning & Development Accelerating Transitions Transitions require leaders to demonstrate competence in a different set of skills and behaviors and, often, to stop some practices which have been core to their success in prior roles. ECC is committed to accelerating time to competent performance through high impact, work based individual and team development interventions. The one day New Leader Assimilation program enables leaders to set clear, mutual expectations and to build powerful relationships with their new team to accelerate high contribution and engagement. New Leader Assimilation The Leadership Transitions programs help leaders understand the new challenges they will face at the next level and the new skills and competencies they need to develop to be successful. It also identifies how they need to refocus their time and helps them to create proactive transition plans. Our structured development programs help new leaders to adapt swiftly to their new role and establish credibility with their new teams. The plan maps out the leader’s first 180 days and identifies the key relationships, goals and operational issues they must master in order to be successful. Services Programs 23 24

Funding Programs Incumbent Worker Customized Apprenticeship Company receives $4000.00 per registered employee Employee receive on-the-job training for typically no less than one year but up to three years Employee combine on-the-job learning with technical education at ECC or at the job sites. Company agrees that Employees receive increases in wages as they gain higher level skills Program operates on state’s fiscal year, July 1 – June 30. Funds are applied for yearly Available funds – 10,000 to 40,000 Each company matches 100 percent of the state funding with services. State-funded training assistance program Classroom Training Supplies (must be consumable during training) OSHA & Safety Related Training Training for office/support staff Requires paperwork application (we will help) Current employees with 6 months tenure. Training must lead to opportunities of advancement and wage increase of at least $0.05 within 60 days of the successful completion of training Employers must pay entire cost of the training up front On conclusion of training – Federal Funds are reimbursed. 10 % of the cost, for employers with 50 or fewer employees 25 % of the cost, for employers with between 51-100 employees 50 % of the cost, for employers with more than 100 employees
