At recess School Characters Richard Mrs.Roony Matthew Timothy If I were Matthew Iwould want to go to the ather school. I do not want to get made fun of.

Richard made fun of Matthew because he wet the bed. Richard said sorry in the end of the book. Matthew got made fun of when Richard made fun of him because he wet his pants in bed. Richard cheated when he ate three pieces of candy corn in a candy corn contest. He tried to change the number on the jar on the last day before they guessed. When they were watching a play Richard asked Mrs.Roony

The problem in The Candy Corn Contest was Richard was dishonest when he tried to cheat in the contest and he was mean to Matthew. The problem was solved when Richard said sorry. Richard learned to not make fun of people. I learned to not make fun of people.

This book is The Candy Corn Contest by Patricia Reilly Giff. The genre of the book is realistic fiction. This is a mystery book becsese Richard was mean to Matthew becese he wet the bed. This is a good book. I will recommend this book to my friends so they can learn the lesson, too.
