Summary of Tiger Rising Rob and his dad, live in Florida, when a new courageous and brave girl named Sistine moves in close by. One day Rob finds a tiger and shows Sistine it, then Beauchamp the owner of the hotel rob lives at shows Rob the tiger and gives him the keys to the tiger's cage to feed it, and one day Rob and Sistine let the tiger free but as it was roaming around Rob's dad shoots the tiger, at that moment all of Rob's feelings BURSTED out of his suitcase and suddenly he felt happiness that he expressed all of his feelings, after he said mean things to his dad.

Symbolism It was really sunny the day Rob's mom Caroline died since the day she died the weather was cloudy, rainy, and stormy, I think it is symbolic because all his feeling were trapped inside his suitcase and times were bad, but when something good happened the sun shined. Another symbolic part in the book is page 8 beginning of chapter 3 it says,“ Nobody wore a pink dress to school. “NOBODY” even Rob knew that, it relates that Sistine is brave and courageous and on the front cover Sistine is wearing a pink lacy dress while riding a tiger who also is brave and courageous.

Theme I think the theme of the book is to express your feelings and not keep them inside of you, because to you need to tell people if you are in need of help or struggling so you can get back to your full potential. My evidence in the text is when he is getting bullied on the bus he doesn't ask the bus driver for help so they kept on bullying him Your feelings, do not keep the

Character analysis My character analysis is Rob, I did him because throughout the book he faced many challenges like his mom died, he got bullied on the bus, he had no friends until Sistine and a dad who did not take good care of him, and his dad shot the tiger. This is many ways Rob has showed courage, and bravery.
