You can manually enter an 8 digit grid into the box Distance in meters Direction in degrees WITH declination (16.1 degrees) unless turned off on the instructor setup screen You can manually enter an 8 digit grid into the box Or enter the text from one of the flags on the map SP CP1 CP2 CP3 A12 B4 RP4 Enter text uppercase with no spaces Or use the crosshairs to select a location on the map From time to time the conversion algorithm returns an incorrect value. Reselect the crosshair and select the point on the map to return a correct value. If you select a location outside the bounds of the land nav course, enter an incorrect value, or enter a known point that is not recognized, you will see an error message.
