Vocabulary Week 11 Study

Word 1: Formidable Def: Very powerful and impressive Sent: Superman was a formidable competitor for Spiderman in Hero Dance Contest.

Word 2: Mediocre Def: Of moderate or low quality Sent: Spiderman knew he was only mediocre when it came to dancing.

Word 3: Nuisance Def: Thing or person who causes you trouble or bother Sent: Superman saw Spiderman as nothing but a nuisance who envied his dancing.

Word 4: Considerate / Consideration Def: Thinking of other peoples feelings, needs Sent: Superman had no consideration for Spidermans dream of becoming a dancer.

Word 5: Vast Def: Huge in area or large in amount Sent: There was a vast difference between their abilities to dance and Spidey knew it.

Word 6: Relevant / Relevance Def: Important and connected to what is being considered Sent: Superman felt dancing was not relevant in his life although he was good at it.
