DANCING WITH GOD Romans 8:1-6

How Dancing Improves Brain Health Posted on January 2, 2018 “Because dance requires mental, physical, emotional and social skills, research says that all of these functions working together can be beneficial to your brain and overall health. Dance is a multi-tasking activity which can improve cognitive function and slow the aging process.”

WALKING IN THE SPIRIT SPIRITUALLY MINDED

DANCING WITH GOD

Unfortunately we live in a world that makes dancing more sensual than spiritual.

2 Samuel 6:14-15 (NKJV) 14  Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15  So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Ecclesiastes 3:4 (NKJV) 4  A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;

Jeremiah 31:4 4 I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful. Lamentations 5:15 (NKJV) 15  The joy of our heart has ceased; Our dancing has turned into mourning.

Psalm 30:11 11  You have turned my mourning into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, Psalm 149:3 (NKJV) 3  Let them praise His name with the dancing; and make music to him with tambourine and harp.

Psalm 150:1-6 (NKJV) 1 Praise the LORD Psalm 150:1-6 (NKJV) 1  Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! 2  Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! 3  Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! 4  Praise Him with the tambourine and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! 5  Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! 6  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
