Modern States CLEP Test Program

Options and Opportunities! You have a great opportunity to earn free college credits! JMCSS has partnered with University of Memphis-Lambuth and an organization called “Modern States” to offer you online access to college courses. You can earn college credits by taking classes at your own pace and taking a CLEP test.

What are CLEP Tests? CLEP stands for “College Level Examination Program” If you pass a CLEP test, you can receive college credit for that course at a college/university that accepts CLEP credits. There are over 30 college-level courses that have CLEP tests.

Why take courses with CLEP tests? If you pass the CLEP tests, it can save you thousands of dollars in college tuition. You can work at your own pace as you prepare to take the test. You can earn extra college credits while you are still in high school. Make sure you check with the college/university you are interested in to ensure they accept the CLEP tests you are thinking about taking.
