Toastmasters Club Mission To provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Communication & Leadership Track
Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) Training Primarily for Club Officers General Members are welcomed to attend Round One Must be accomplished between June & August Round Two Must be accomplished between December & February
Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests Held in the fall; between September to October Clubs may send representatives Areas & Division scheduled District Contest held during the Fall Conference (November) District is the highest level for both contests
International Speech & Table Topics Contests Held in the spring; between March to April Club may send representative District Contest held during the Spring Conference (May) International Speech will compete at the International Convention (August) District is the highest level for Table Topics Contest
Contest Rules & Eligibility Rulebook 2012 A contestant must: Be a member and in a club in good standing Complete six speech projects for the CC manual for the International Speech Contest Maintain eligibility throughout the contest period Be original; prepared only by the speaker

Distinguished Club Program (DCP) Used to determine the health of the club and its members; will advice on achieving goals Goal 1 - Two CCs Goal 2 - Two More CCs Goal 3 - One ACB, ACS or ACB Goal 4 - One More ACB, ACS or ACG Goal 5 - Once CL, ALB, ALS or DTM
Distinguished Club Program (DCP) Goal 6 – One More CL, ALB, ALS or DTM Goal 7 – Four New Members Goal 8 – Four More New Members Goal 9 – Minimum Four Officers Trained Twice Goal 10 – One Dues Renewal (1 Oct & 1 Apr) & One Officer List Submitted On Time (30 Jun & 31 Dec) **Note** Must meet membership; 20+ or 5 more than baseline
