Room Expectations Accountability responsibly respect and courage You are accountable for all your work, your personal belongings, and your behavior. You are responsible for your own behavior. Respect yourself, others, and our time together. Show courage. Raise your hand and ask a question, volunteer to read aloud, ASK me if you do not understand a concept.

How does this look during class… Raise your hand if you have a question or need to leave your seat. No gum, food, or drinks. Respond with “Yes, Ma’am” and “No, sir” NO back packs in class. Come prepared to every class. Keep your hands to yourself NO CELL PHONES ------------ROLE PLAY ACTIVITY-----------------

Expectations and Procedures Contract We are going to practice expectations during class today and tomorrow. You will receive a contract to sign this Friday. It must be turned in by Tuesday with your signature as well as your parent or guardian’s signature.

Homework On the white board above my desk is where your homework, connections, and essential questions will be listed every day. It is your responsibly to write down your homework in your agenda EVERY DAY! Even if there is no homework.

What will you do in ELA? Every Monday you will get a list of 10-15 vocabulary words and on Friday you will have a vocabulary quiz. We will have a unit test/project/or class assignment that is worth a test grade everything 3 weeks. We will visit the library once a month
