Binders on Floor Field Note Update All papers being passed back go in the Field Notes folder.

Essential Question What do primary and secondary sources tell us about the Neolithic Age?

The Iceman’s axe had a wood handle and a copper blade that was attached with leather straps. The copper came from central Italy. This evidence supports my claim because the use of copper was a new material of the time. Plus, the Iceman could use the axe as a tool or a weapon.

Directions Work on the CER graphic organizer: LOOK AT YOUR NOTES FIRST TO SEE WHICH CLAIM YOU CAN BEST SUPPORT. Circle 1 of the claims. Find evidence to support your claim. Use your Çatalhöyük and Iceman artifact worksheets, along with chapter 3 of History Alive! Be descriptive and NEATLY write 2 – 3 sentences. Explain your reasoning NEATLY in 1 – 2 sentences.

Clean Up Put your worksheet in your Field Notes folder. Put your Field Notes folder on top of the text books. Quietly wait for further directions.
