“Integrating Inclusive Excellence into University Strategy and Goals” Presentation “Integrating Inclusive Excellence into University Strategy and Goals” Speakers: Valerie Hayes, J.D. Ed.D., Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Stockton University Chris Catching, Ed.D., Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Hayes will present on her experience developing University-wide Diversity Initiatives and integrating inclusive excellence into University Strategy, Planning and Goals at Stockton University. Dr. Catching will outline Stockton’s commitment to civility, safety and community in their “Culture of Respect” Initiative.

Presentation “Building Your Employment Brand: A Partnership Between HR and University Relations” Speakers: Geoffrey Pettifer, Executive Director of University Relations and Marketing, Stockton University Tom Chester, Assistant Vice President for HR Operations and Payroll, Stockton University This presentation explores the use of media marketing techniques to strengthen recruitment and retention of key talent and build an Employment Brand that speaks to University’s commitment to Inclusive Excellence through a consistent communication strategy from the words and images of hiring web pages to employee engagement and recognition.

Presentation “Leveraging Climate Survey Data to Prioritize Diversity Initiatives – Two Experiences” Speakers: Christy Cunningham, Associate Director for Training and Organizational Development, Stockton University Rahmaan Simpkins, Assistant Vice President for Organizational Effectiveness and Ombuds Officer, Stockton University Katrina Fludd, Senior Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, Princeton University Christy Cunningham and Rahmaan Simpkins will review Stockton’s response to its 2017 Climate Survey, creation of the Ombuds Office, Mediation program and Respectful Workplace seminars. Katrina Fludd will discuss Princeton University’s use of Climate Survey Data to build customized diversity plans for departments and divisions across the University.
