Sewing Tool Needle - A small sharp steel instrument that has an eye (opening) for thread at one end

Sewing Tool Pins - Used to hold pieces of cloth together

Sewing Tool Pin Cushion - A safe place to store pins and needles

Sewing Tool Scissors - Short and handles are small with matching holes (used to cut paper)

Sewing Tool Shears - Longer than scissors and handles are not the same size (to cut cloth only)

Sewing Tool Seam gauge – A short ruler that makes quick accurate measurements

Sewing Term Seam - A row of stitching used to hold two pieces of fabric together
