Cold Environments Cold environments are areas covered in ice for all or nearly all of the year. They are found in areas of high latitude and high altitude. Examples include Greenland in the North, Antarctica in the South and the Himalayas in central Asia.

True or false Cold environments are found in places with high latitude. Permafrost is ground partly frozen all year. Places in the centre of continents are colder.
