Tentatively our Gifted Showcase for parents is scheduled in February. Cultural Celebration for our gifted students will be on Friday, February 15th. Show Off! Your child is bringing home his/her portfolio to show off all the hard work done this term. Here’s what you’ll find inside: ELA Daily Paragraph Editing – Your child is working on correcting spelling, punctuation, and capitalization mistakes. We are keeping data to show how many times your child earned a 3 (grades 1-4) or 90% (grade 5) each term. Research notes – Your child has been learning a lot about a foreign country. This will be on display at the Gifted Showcase. Leader in Me – We’ve focused deeply on the first 3 habits. The classroom conversations have been wonderful! Spanish – To continue exploring different countries, we’re learning some basic Spanish words including the alphabet, numbers, days of the week and seasons.
