IRELAND SDG IMPLEMENTATION PROGRESS Social Justice Ireland 2018 report: www.socialjustice.ie Ireland’s overall ranking in the Sustainable Progress Index at 11th out of 15 countries analysed (EU-15). Ireland’s performance on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is worst on Environment, Gender Equality, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, Affordable Clean Energy, Reducing Inequality and International Partnership on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

AN TAISCE SCHOOL TRAVEL PROJECT SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport Has provided funding for the An Taisce Green-Schools Travel programme since 2009 to educate children and their parents on the benefits of sustainable transport and to encourage them to reduce the number of cars on the school run.

LANDUSE-MARINE Reconciling a land use and economic strategy which protects nature, achieves climate action targets, cultural heritage and landscape protection – while providing economic base for food production, energy, forestry and recreation.
