Training & Technical Assistance Improving Criminal Justice Response and STOP Grantees Focusing on: Developing community corrections strategies. Enhancing probation and parole officers' response to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking The National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College, in partnership with the Center for Court Innovation, is pleased to announce that we are a training and technical assistance provider for Improving Criminal Justice Response and STOP grantees.   As a grantee, you are eligible for training and technical assistance services focused on developing community corrections strategies and enhancing probation and parole officers' response to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. You may host training in your community at no cost to your agency or program

Training Topics Evidence-based practices in corrections Restorative practices to address harm caused to victim/community Reentry support and accountability strategies Implementation Science Criminal Justice 101 for volunteers Bridging the gap between victim services and community-based corrections  Applying harm reduction strategies Implementing trauma-informed approaches Increasing leadership abilities to improve multi-disciplinary responses Coordinating community response(CCR) team development Safety planning for victims Effective policy and procedures  Understanding victimology . You may host training in your community at no cost to your agency or program. All TTA is customizable and designed to meet your agencies specific needs. Some sample topics are included on the slide. We will work with you to develop your training plan. We offer a wide range of training methods from in person (onsite) webniar, on demand learning, mentoring etc. ( Also provide as handout)
