AGENDA Meeting notes: News from Art: RVHS art department recognized with 19 awards - most in the county. Includes 6 ”Gold Key” awards. Working towards a multi-discipline project by combining music and visual arts in March. News from Band & Orchestra: RVHS Winter Guard participated in 1st competition. Preparing for assessments. News from Chorus: All-District Choir included several members from RVHS choir. 5 students have been invited to audition at the state level. Preparing for assessments. News from Guitar & Orchestra: 11 students were selected for Districts. 4 of the 11 have been invited to audition at the state level. Recent pop-up recitals were a success. Planning for more. Canadian Guitar group performing on 03/22. News from Theatre: Successfully completed all (5…most ever) class performances. Planning 1st-ever mentoring program for “Tech”. Preparing for Mamma Mia. New from Treasurer: Reconciliation between QBO, PNC, and various e-mails is almost done. New from Fund-raising Director: FAB’s in-house SAT prep course for March SAT test is underway. Old Business Link to Action Items Tool (limited access) Distribution of student account balances Tax-exempt status Volunteer to coordinate with Dan Wojcik and disciplines to schedule photoshoot(s) for fine arts student recognition Meeting notes: Sean will distribute student account balances after reconciliation is complete and after each discipline has reviewed the distribution amounts Elmer reports that tax-exempt status is unchanged. There is no new information. Sharin will lead the effort to update the Fine Arts recognition wall with new pics of state-level award recipients

New Business Meeting notes: Committees/teams Elmer summarized the objectives for each committee Elmer welcomes all volunteers. A volunteer does not need to be a FAB member. Alex Footen will lead committee/team that will provide (1) easy to follow steps for requesting a promotional video; (2) content for the video monitor outside the auditorium main entrance; and (3) easy to follow steps for using the video monitor Elmer requested that VPs use their contacts and encourage participation in these committees/teams Formsite: The merits, costs, and alternatives for increasing the number of forms from 10 to 25 was discussed. No final objections were raised to use FAB funds to increase to 25 forms. File sharing: The merits, costs, and alternatives replacing Dropbox were discussed. No objectives were raised to replace Dropbox with Google Drive. Seek student and parent volunteers to chair/lead and participate in committee/team to document the inventory of all FAB acquired materials; e.g., software licenses, flat panel displays, cash boxes, table coverings, etc. committee/team to identify future events that will require partnership of 2 or more disciplines committee/team to provide inputs for new promotional video to be used for website, auditorium display, and before concerts. Seek parent volunteers to chair/lead and participate in committee/team to plan and execute the award of FAB-level scholarship(s). Discuss past process and lessons learned. Band would like to increase number of forms that are allowed on Formsite Recommend migrating electronic files off from Elmer’s personal Drop Box to new FAB controlled Google Drive
